UIMP Opens Application Period for the 2022 Scholarship Program

University of Menéndez Pelayo International (UIMP) has opened the scholarship application period to attend academic activities to be held at its Teaching and Research Centers in 2022, including summer courses to be held at its headquarters in Santander from June 20 to September 9, 2022.

In addition, the scholarships will cover academic activities at places in Cuenca, Galicia, Madrid, Seville, Tenerife and Valencia.

The scholarship programme, with a total value of €220,000 – of which 120,000 provided by Santander universities – is intended for university students and graduates, who must be Spanish citizens, citizens of another EU member state or non-EU citizens with legal residence in Spain . The class will be open until May 3, 2022.

Regarding the academic degree requirements, students must have been officially enrolled in the academic year 2021/2022 or 2022/2023 in formal studies leading to a Bachelor’s, Master’s or Doctorate degree at a Spanish university in the European Higher Education Space (EHEA) Or in any other study equivalent to it in accordance with the applicable regulations.

In the case of university graduates, those who have completed any of the official studies listed after December 31, 2017 may apply. In addition, they must demonstrate a grade point average in their degree or undergraduate academic record or greater than 5 out of 10.

UIMP offers three types of scholarships: the full scholarship, which includes free tuition, room and board in its facilities or other halls of residence (in the case of Santander summer courses), and the scholarship, which includes exemption from the payment of registration for the course or seminar that Student-requested (for face-to-face or online courses) and residency scholarship, aimed exclusively at conference course participants for an interuniversity master’s degree in Contemporary History.
