Tyreek Hill sends a message to fans while the bosses tackle a hot business

Getty Trek Hill officially bids farewell to the Chiefs Kingdom.

The amazing 2022 NFL offseason struck again on March 23 when the Kansas City Chiefs traded star superstar Terek Hill for the Miami Dolphins.

In the end, Brett Veach received a slew of three-time All-Pro draft picks that started as a fifth-round pick, but the deal was still a bitter pill for fans. Hill’s departure, along with the imminent departure of Terran Matthew, may signal the end of an era in Kansas.

For better or worse, that’s a sad thought after four straight games in the AFC Championship and the Super Bowl. This is exactly how Hill said his last goodbye to the Chiefs Kingdom.

Terek Hill’s message to fans

“End of an era!!!” Hill tweeted. “Miami, I’m going home.” Below, Cheetah talks about his long journey with the Chiefs’ Organization, expressing his appreciation to all those who helped him along the way.

He said:

Today makes a new beginning. I am very excited to join Dolphin Miami and get started. However, it’s hard to think of the memories, people, and fans who spent my time in Kansas City so wonderfully.

To my family and especially to my children, I thank you for being my biggest supporter. Dad loves you!

I am grateful to those who have joined me in giving back to the Kansas City community through the TYREEK HILL FAMILY FOUNDATION. From scholarships to colleges, youth soccer camps, funding Maria’s first youth mental health navigator, donations of supplies to the homeless and visits with children in the hospital, we haven’t been able to make all the impact.

Thank you Presidents Organization for believing in me. I will never forget getting a call in 2016 that my dream of playing in the NFL came true. You worked hard every day to show my appreciation for taking risks for me. Train [Andy] Reid, coach [Eric] duo and coach [Greg] Lewis, thank you for what I’ve learned not only about football but about life.

Thank you pat [Mahomes]And [Travis] Kells, Demarco [Robinson]s [Gehrig] Diet with all my buddies. I am proud to have field experience with each of you. You are what makes every day worth it. We are brothers for life!

For fans, thank you for your support. Playing for you has been one of the greatest things I’ve done in my life. His energy, passion and loyalty to the team is indescribable. It was an honor to play in front of you.

Kansas City will always have a special place in my heart!

Red and Fitch send their regards, and they handle the trade

Coach Andy Reed and the aforementioned Fitch have released official statements about the big move.

The General Manager stated, “It’s hard to describe what Tyreek has meant to the Kingdom of Chiefs over the past six years. He’s an outstanding player, one of the best players in franchise history. He’s been a huge part of our success, including our Super Bowl experience. That decision was a big part of our success. Very difficult, but we felt it was a necessary step for the team and Terek too. We wish him all the best as he continues his career.”

Reed then continued, “I’m so happy for Terek, he’s grown as a man and player here at Kansas City. Myself, my staff and our organization appreciate everything you’ve done for our team. This move will also benefit the Chiefs, we now have plenty of room and additional towing options to grow as a football team. I hope.” He has the best as he moves forward.”

Interestingly, both highlighted the importance of this decision when discussing the future of the Presidents franchise. The couple now have roof space and trial capital to work with and it would be great to see what they have in store this spring.

Colleagues say goodbye to the leopard

We’ve shared some players’ reactions before, but some of Hill’s close mates took the extra time to find the right words, and some didn’t at all.

We’re still waiting to hear from Mahomes himself, although Dieter, whose name is mentioned in Hill’s statement, sent some love. He said, “I will miss you, brother.” “Real from day 1.”

Kelsey shared the same sentiment, adding, “Brothers for life!!”

Finally, for fans of “Fresh Prince of Bel-Air,” fellow WR Mecole Hardman shared a GIF that’s already home.
