Asunción, IP Agency.- Minister Edgar Coleman reported Wednesday that the National Secretariat for Youth (SNJ) has enabled the virtual platform to access university scholarships for 2022.
in conversation with San Pedro National RadioSNJ President Edgar Coleman stressed that these open applications will have Phase One through March 25 until virtual platform.
He added that the basic requirements for submission are three, as a certificate of life and residence, a certificate of studies to prove the student’s semester average, which must be 3 or more, and a copy of the identity card.
“These are the three requirements requested by the National Youth Secretariat, in order to be eligible for these university scholarships. He stressed that the idea is to reach the weakest sectors of the interior and the capital of the country.
He explained that a second phase of applications will be opened until March 31, as the idea of the institution under his responsibility is to start payment in the month of April.
“There will not be two payments of 1,000,000 guarani every six months, but we want eight monthly payments of 250,000 guarani, so the children have predictability and also have a fixed monthly fee to supplement what they need for their studies,” he said.
The national government, through the National Youth Trust, provides assistance to those interested with limited resources to access university studies, through about five thousand scholarships. Each beneficiary will receive 2.000.000 guarani.
