hUntil next April 20, the deadline has been extended for young high school graduates from a formal educational institution in Bucaramanga, belonging to classes 1, 2 and 3, to apply for one of the 1,325 scholarships that will be awarded for the second semester of the year.
The purpose of this decision is that those who were unable to collect documents or due to some inconvenience were unable to register within the time specified, initially, to do so.
Beneficiaries will be able to pursue technical and technological positions in 11 higher education institutions.
The registration process can be submitted through the mayor’s office website at www.bucaramanga.gov.co. When a person enters the portal, they must click on “Perform your actions”, and then select the category of the action that says “Education”. There the option to Call for Higher Education Scholarships 1-2022 will appear, where you just have to click.

In this space, you will be able to learn about specializations, technical and technological programs and certificates of fulfillment of requirements. You will also find the option to register, where the interested party will create a username and password to enter the form that will be filled in with the required personal data.
As soon as you provide the required information, you will select the “Save” option and the system will automatically return you to the previous page, where you will have to enter the chosen username and password to review the document and accept the terms and conditions before starting the engraving.
When the registration form data is filled out and the required documents are attached, you will have to click Save and that’s it, you are nominated. This process is free.
Between April 21 and May 13, conditions will be checked and requirements met. On May 17, you will know the list of selected scholarship holders.
Ana Leonor Rueda Vivas, Minister of Education of Bucaramanga, confirmed that the investment made by the municipal administration to ensure the continuity of youth in the city is $1,500 million.
People without connectivity or equipment to register can do so at one of Bucaramanga’s eight digital points.
Students who have graduated from high school graduates during 2018, 2019, 2020 and 2021 can apply. They must reside in some of the Tier 1, 2 and 3 sectors of the capital city of Santander.
