The United States Embassy in Nicaragua announces scholarships to study the English language inside and outside the country

The U.S. Embassy, ​​along with the Cultural Center of North America in Nicaragua (CCNN), has opened calls for scholarship programs in English, aimed at students, professionals, and people with limited resources, with leadership skills and a community service attitude. One call is the prestigious Fulbright Scholarship Program, which is already accepting applications for the 2023-2024 cycle. These scholarships cover all necessary expenses so that the best candidates can complete a master’s degree at a US university.

The Fulbright International Exchange Program is an initiative of the late Senator J. William Fulbright of Arkansas It is designed to facilitate mutual understanding between citizens of the United States and other countries of the world.

Candidates must be a Nicaraguan citizen, between the ages of 18 and 32, have an attitude of service and leadership, basic technological skills in the use of mobile devices, computers and social networking, have passed at least the fifth year of high school, currently have an academic letter of recommendation and / Or professional, be responsible and respect diversity of thought. No prior knowledge of English is required.
