The program offers 100 scholarships to young women in the fields of science, engineering, arts, and mathematics

Women between the ages of 15 and 19, interested in professional development in fields related to science, technology, engineering, arts and mathematics, can participate in one of the 100 scholarships for the 18th edition of “MenTe en Acción”.

This program is worth more than $550, about 361,000 yen, and the girls receive scholarships thanks to the support of sponsoring companies, including Accenture, IBM, P&G, Intel and Emerson.

Participants will attend 19 nine-week virtual sessions on topics such as technologies with a purpose, programming logic, design thinking, programming workshops, gender empowerment and leadership.

In addition, as a team they will develop and program a prototype for a Celus application in line with the goal of sustainable development.

Those interested can live anywhere in the country, but they must have stable internet access to connect to the sessions.

The software will be 100% virtual on the Zoom platform and each team will have a team of mentors who will guide them through the prototype development process.
