The Secretary of Human and Social Development of the Municipality of Queretaro, Arturo Torres Gutierrez, reported that after the electoral ban due to the abolition of the mandate, the call for the Tu Bica program has been reactivated, and five other social programs will be strengthened.
The call for scholarships, paused due to the electoral ban, will be open from April 11-15. There are currently 1,400 students already registered, and they are validating applications. It will be in May when the scholarships will be awarded.
He announced that five operating rules for the same number of programs will be presented on Tuesday in plenary: condominium dignity, child cases, irregular settlements, housing improvement and life insurance, and Medicaid.
Karama Buildings Program will include 300 housing units; While the Housing Improvement Program will include 84 actions; Support for children’s cases: 60 cases will benefit from 5,000 pesos per month.
In addition, the scope of the irregular human settlements program will be 850 plots of land; and life insurance and medical assistance for street vendors and market renters, to include taxi drivers and small businesses, for a total of 6000 beneficiaries.
