Postgraduate degree scholarships in Spain from the Carolina Foundation

It can be requested by students from Latin American countries who wish to continue their higher studies at a Spanish university. Application dates are open until March 15 or April 7, depending on the scholarship.

If you live in a Latin American country and wish to study postgraduate or doctoral studies at a university in Spain, the Carolina Foundation has opened the call to apply Spanish Cooperation Scholarships 2022-2023Aims to fund master’s, postgraduate, mobility and doctoral studies

In total advance 594 scholarshipdistributed as follows:

236 scholarships for postgraduate studies
90 PhD scholarships and post-doctoral short-stays
27 scholarships for teacher mobility
121 Scholarships for Institutional Studies
120 PhD scholarship renewals

These scholarships aim to collaborate in achieving the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) of the 2030 Agenda, with a focus on responding to the challenges of the “triple transition”: digital, environmental and social. In this way, scholarship recipients will be able to train and participate in research focused on these points.

The application period for selection of postgraduate and international studies scholarships will be Open until March 15 It’s 9 a.m. (Spain time). For doctoral scholarships, short stays and professor mobility, the term Ends on April 7 It’s 9 a.m. (Spain time). Postgraduate Scholarships
It targets national graduates from a Latin American country that is a member of the Ibero-American Community, or from Portugal, with academic or professional capabilities backed by an outstanding curriculum. The program offers scholarships and grants to study official master’s degrees, private degrees and specialization courses in Spain.

PhD Scholarships and Post-Doctoral Short Stays
Doctoral scholarships are intended to promote the acquisition of the academic degree of doctorate among professors of Latin American universities, while the goal of short-stay postdoctoral scholarships is to complete post-doctoral training for professors of these centers and to facilitate the creation of academic networks between Spain and America. The scholarships are based on the co-funding system, stipulated in bilateral educational cooperation agreements.

Teacher Mobility Grants
They allow a short research stay in Spain for teachers or research team from Argentine, Brazilian and Portuguese universities. The maximum period is three months.

Scholarships and Institutional Studies
These scholarships are designed as assistance in financing training plans in Hispanic centers which tend to institutional strengthening of Ibero-American public administrations. The scholarships include the following:

Bicentennial Award: 20 scholarships for training in sustainable cities, information technology, engineering, urban and rural development.
– The search remains at the Carolina headquarters Focuses on social sciences, development studies and gender studies.
Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics Scholarships For high school graduates to study a master’s degree in science, technology, engineering or mathematics.
public treasury program To complete a master’s degree in Public Finance and Financial and Tax Management, organized by the Institute of Fiscal Studies and UNED.
