Peruvian specialists and researchers from various disciplines will be able to apply until June 3 for one of the scholarships offered by the Organization of American States (OAS), for master’s, doctoral and postgraduate degrees at major universities in the member states.
Benefits include mandatory tuition, health insurance, monthly living assistance, round-trip airfare, as well as an annual stipend for book purchases.
Competition requirements include being a permanent or legal resident of Peru, proficiency in the country’s language and/or program of study, a commitment to return to Peru and residency for a minimum of 24 months after completion of their studies.
It is also required that you hold a university degree (bachelor’s degree) at the time of applying for the scholarship, enrolling in a study program or obtaining an acceptance letter from the university where you plan to study, which cannot be from the applicant. Country sponsor (in this case Peru).

Two letters of recommendation from professors, former professors, current or former employer must also be attached (duly stamped and/or signed), as well as an undocumented curriculum vitae (which should not exceed two pages), and a DNI must be submitted. .
It should be noted that Pronabec will only assess complete applications, based on the requirements specified in the call, and will send a list of pre-selected candidates to the OAS.
The selection of those selected will be exclusively in accordance with the Ad Hoc Committee on Academic and Technical Studies Selection of the Organization of American States, which will review, evaluate and prioritize the candidates who will be awarded scholarships.
