The current situation of the Corona virus that the world is going through, and the different approaches that countries have taken with more or less success to confront it, illustrate the importance of the need for companies and countries to have specialists in areas such as big data, cyber security, artificial intelligence or smart cities.
In this sense, the OAS (Organization of American States) together with Structuralia, the leader in Spanish-language online training for engineers, has launched a call for scholarships for master’s degrees online, in English and Spanish, in these and other fields related to engineering. Citizens of the member states of the Organization of American States can access it.
Those interested can refer to the foundations of this cooperation between Structuralia and the Organization of American States at https://becasoea.structuralia.com/, and submissions can be submitted until 12 May. Scholarships of up to 80% access to core programs will facilitate training for their future career in relevant topics such as Big Data, Cyber Security, BIM, Artificial Intelligence, Smart Cities, Digital Transformation and Industry 4.0.
This call includes for the first time four new master’s degrees taught entirely in English, specializing in priority areas of training in the development of OAS member states, such as renewable energy and natural disaster management, among others. During 2020, the agreement between the two institutions will offer 2,700 Latin American scholarships to each of the four master’s degrees in English and 50 in Spanish.
All Structuralia master’s degrees, as their major is, are 100% online methodology and can be taken almost anywhere in America, no matter what country you are in. You just need to be connected to the internet and support, be it a PC/Laptop, Tablet/iPad or, of course, a smartphone from which you can download the Virtual Campus App.
