More than 6,060 scholarships were awarded in the first quarter of Comfenalco Antioquia

With an investment of 8,119 million pesos, Comfinalco Antioquia Provide 6,066 scholarships to boys, girls and youthAttend regular private schools, from the transitional stage to the eleventh grade or in specialized institutionsfromDepartment quality so that they complete their school year and reduce school dropouts.

Carolina Franco, Director of Social and Intellectual Well-Being at Comfenalco Antioquia, specifies that Support includes persons with physical, hearing, visual, intellectual, psychosocial (mental) disabilities, deafness, blindness and multiple disabilities, who with comprehensive care will achieve levels of autonomy and independence, because social, educational and labor inclusion is promoted.

The beneficiaries, membership category A and B, will have access to quality education in 501 private schools and 19 specialized institutions, thus reaching 69 municipalities in the nine regions of Antioquia.

“The scholarships are an example of Caja’s commitment to providing relevant, high-quality and accessible education for all. We continue our goal of providing social and intellectual well-being and a better quality of life for families in Antioquia through our educational commitment,” Director adds.
