Icetex offers 10 Masters Scholarships in Spain – Education – Life

at the moment, Icetex has an open call for 10 Master’s degree scholarships to be awarded at the University of Salamanca, in Spain. Those interested can apply until Thursday, April 7th.

As reported by the entity on its website, this benefit exclusively covers medical insurance and tuition fee waiver.

Keep in mind that, according to Icetex, “In programs lasting more than one academic year, only 60 credits of the first year will be funded by the program; the cost of other credits will be borne by the student.”

With regard to insurance, the entity indicates that it is accident and civil liability insurance that runs from October 1, 2022 to August 31, 2023. “In any case, if the student travels, he must pay the insurance required by the Spanish government to obtain the visa,” notes Icetex.

Some of the areas of study you can apply to are agricultural technology, advanced data analysis, big and multivariate data, and economic analysis of law and public policy. Also, applied anthropology, cellular and molecular biology, political science. Environmental sciences, physics and mathematics, among others.

The academic program begins on September 15 this year and ends on July 31, 2023.

Keep in mind that the program is aimed at Colombian undergraduate professionals for positions related to the programs offered.who work for public or private entities or preferably have professional experience related to the program to be implemented.

In addition, each applicant must have a pre-registration from the University of Salamanca.

Likewise, the applicant must be over 20 years old and under 65 years old, plus have a minimum Bachelor’s degree average of 3.7/5.0.

It is also preferable to have at least one year of professional experience (ie after obtaining a university degree) in the field of the program to be implemented.

The applicant must be in good physical and mental health.
