Fundación Universia has launched €1,000 scholarships for vocational training students with disabilities

This program that encourages inclusive training is aimed at students with disabilities who are enrolled in intermediate and higher-level vocational training studies, among others.

The second stage of its sixteenth call will remain open until October 11.

Fundación Universia, which has the support of Banco Santander to develop its activities through Santander universities, is calling for financial aid for vocational training students with disabilities. On this occasion, €1,000 scholarships will be allocated to enhance employment opportunities, improve access, academic progress and mobility of students with disabilities in equal opportunity.

This initiative is part of the second call for the sixteenth edition of its programmeUniversity Foundation Scholarships For students with disabilities, for the 2021-2022 academic year. A unified program of the Foundation aims to be a driving force in the employability of diversity, inclusion and equity for people with disabilities.

Registration periods are open until October 11 on the Becas Santander website. Spanish or foreign students residing in Spain, holding a certificate of disability and enrolled in training course studies at the intermediate and higher level, among others, can participate. The scholarship decision will be announced on December 20, 2021.

This is the fourth edition of these scholarships for Intermediate and Higher Course Students with Disabilities, which began in 2020, on that occasion exclusively for High Level Training Courses which, as of 2021, add to the training of Intermediate Professional Students with Disabilities as contact applicants.

Students enrolled in Bachelor’s, Master’s, Ph.D., undergraduate degrees, language courses, training related to culture, sports, and opposition can register for this call. Through this project, Fundación Universia collaborates to achieve Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) 4: Inclusive Quality Education.
