Fundación Universia has launched 210 Scholarships for Students with Disabilities (Social Work): Commitment to Education RSE

09/16/2021 08:31:23 Fundación Universia, which has the support of Banco Santander to develop its activities through Santander universities, has launched the second call for the 16th edition of the Fundación Universia Scholarship Program for Students with Disabilities, with a batch of 210 scholarships for this 2021-2022 academic year. In total, €210,000 to boost employment and improve access, academic progress and mobility for students with disabilities who have equal opportunities.

Banco Santander, Abbvie, Daimler, Indra, KPMG, Nestlé, Openbank, Pfizer, Repsol Make possible this enterprise standardized program, which aims to be a driving force in the employability of diversity, inclusion and equity for people with disabilities.

Registration periods are open until October 11 on the Fundación Universia website. Spanish or foreign students residing in Spain, with a certificate of disability and enrolled in Bachelor’s, Master’s, Ph.D., university degrees, vocational training, language courses, training related to culture, sports, exhibitions and university training course can participate. The scholarship decision will be announced on December 20, 2021.

Since launching this scholarship program in 2007, Fundación Universia has invested €3,106,415, managed 5,564 applications, and resolved a total of 2,190 scholarships to enhance employment, access, advancement, and mobility for students with disabilities. Through this project, Fundación Universia collaborates to achieve Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) 4: Inclusive Quality Education.
