With the aim of encouraging Peruvians to find new academic opportunities in AustraliaThe Australian Trade and Investment Commission (Austrade) will develop a virtual event called “Exclusive Scholarships and Funding for Peruvians” to provide necessary and relevant information to Peru who are looking to improve their professional future.
Since December last year, Australia has opened its borders to international students. “We hope that the 1,600 Peruvian students we used to have in Australian classrooms will return in 2022,” said Marie Ringland, Australia’s new ambassador to Peru.
In the virtual event, educational offers from eight Australian universities will be on display, which on this occasion will offer discounts of up to 30% for postgraduate studies. To do this, Jorge López Palma, Director of Education at Austrade, will be involved to guide students on the necessary routes to reach one of them.

In addition, Maria Esther Sanchez, representative of the largest private bank in Peru will also attend, who will talk about financing that can be accessed at a low interest rate for students interested in applying to any of these universities.
“In my country, we have an inclusive community that helps students quickly integrate into different social groups, master their English, and have greater chances of finding a reintegration job,” added Ringland.
The virtual event will take place on Thursday, April 7 at 7:00 pm via the website. To register, you can login directly to the following link.
