You are a teacher or educational leader for a national or private school and you are interested in the design and implementation of practices, projects or programs in STEM education – STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) for these scholarships is offered by the Organization of American States (OAS).
The STEM Education Diploma – STEAM is a professional development training program for teachers and educational agents, accredited by the Organization of American States and Universidad Bonifica Bolivariana (a Colombian university with high-quality accreditation).

Participants will receive elements of project design in STEM-STEAM education, thus contributing to the development of students’ scientific, technological, technical, and mathematical skills.
The course will be held remotely (online) from 6 April to 17 August 2021 To be completed in 19 weeks. It will be dictated in Spanish and will have a weekly dedication for 10 hours.
Number of scholarships offered: 11 scholarships
Covers 100% of the course tuition fee
Certificate from the Educational Portal of the Americas and the Pontifical Bolivarian University of Colombia for scholarship holders who pass the diploma.
The scholarship does not include the total cost of the course, which will be $425 (four hundred twenty-five US dollars). For applicants who do not meet the requirements for the scholarship, the cost is $1,250 (one thousand two hundred and fifty US dollars).
Scholarship application requirements
– Diploma or university degree.
A letter of recommendation from the employer, institution or organization to which you belong. Must be signed and addressed to the OAS Professional Development Scholarship Program (Department of Human Development, Education and Employment).
Undocumented CV (maximum two pages).
– A copy of your ID or passport.
After you apply online, you will receive a confirmation email and your application form.
